Wellstead Rural Services was established by a local farmer in 1963 as a small general store, located on-farm near the town of Wellstead, Western Australia.
In 1965, the business moved into town and evolved to offer a more extensive range of groceries as well as agricultural and home hardware products to the local community and surrounding areas.
Wellstead Rural Services is also the community post office and fuel station, with a range of ready-prepared foods and fresh coffee.
The store is an important hub for the small community and is often used as a social meeting point.
With the local agriculture industry consisting primarily of mixed cropping and livestock, we stock a range of ag-chemicals, fertiliser, animal health supplies, stock feed and fencing, as well as gardening supplies, hardware and cement.
There is also an agronomy service available to customers.
Located on Windsor Road, Wellstead, the business services an area covering Green Range, Borden, Jerramungup and Bremer Bay.
